The
Beginning
Mahageeta Music Company stepped humbly
into the wonderful world of music dominated by stalwarts like HMV, T-Series
and Music Today, in the year 1994. The footing was humble, but firm.
The ambitions were strong. The goals were set. A firm resolve
of creating excellent quality music, a solid determination of providing
to all music lovers the world over, the finest combinations of melodious
tunes enabled our company to create a niche for itself in a remarkably
short time. We began with creating
good quality devotional albums on Sri Shiridi Sai Baba, Lord Ayyappa, Goddess
Saraswati and found the response encouraging. Our series of instrumental
film tunes of old Telugu super hit melodies titled "Neelimegham"
receives overwhelming public demand to this day. In fact, Mahageeta
has become synonymous with Neelimegham. Letters and enquiries pour
in from all over the globe, asking us about the forthcoming releases of
Neelimegham.
Our Policies We believe that melodious music leads to good health. We strive at creating concept-based music, which relieves the stress and pressure of today's harassed professional. Our concepts are all based on different types of fusion music, which serve the dual purpose of easy listening and relieving stress. To induce in the general public awareness about stress relieving techniques like meditation, Mahageeta highlights on albums for meditation. Music is one of the easiest methods of practicing meditation. We have created albums suitable for the meditation process. Some such masterpieces are Om Shakti, Vibrations, Music for Peace, Waves of Melody, Music for Late Evenings and Narayaneeyam. Quality is our forte. We strictly maintain the best quality possible in all our recordings. Not only do we retain the best artistes in the music industry, but we also carefully make every effort to bring out the best in them. The ultimate result is therefore melody, with the finest quality. We are quite flexible where our rates are concerned, but are rigid regarding our policies. There is never any compromise on recording quality or supplying the goods within the stipulated time. We are regular participants of the prestigious Hyderabad Book Fair, which is visited by an estimated 2 lakh people every year. From the past 15 years, we have been actively participating in the Book Fair thus establishing direct contact with the public. This also enables us to know their requirements and we create new concepts based on the requirement of the music lovers. This instant rapport with our listeners helps us vastly in creating exactly that kind of music that society needs in the present circumstances. In a bid to do our bit towards society, we offer our services at the best competitive rates possible. Our motto is to serve humanity with music, because music gives good health. We believe that music has a remarkable, positive effect on human nerves and therefore select only such ragas which yield a tranquil effect on the human brain and create positive energy in and around the surroundings. Our selection of subjects for our albums is done after great deal of research and analysis. We bring out those albums, which are useful for every kind of music lover, be he the busy professional, the student or the senior citizen. Therefore, our baseline also sends the message that we serve society through soulful music.
